Eggless cake

Im in the mood to make a cake.
Yesterday, from forum I saw a question bout how to make an eggless cake, and its remind me that lst year I made it for Diwali Day.
First time I made and it comes good.
This time, I dont have a mixer as I havent buy a new one,and also got a new recipe for eggless cake and so simple as I can mix it with the wooden spoon only.
SO I gave it a try,modified little as usual and the result..mmm yummy...


2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 can of sweet condensed milk
200 ml orange juice
2 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp milk powder
3 tbsp sugar
100 ml butter(melted)
100 ml margarine(melted)
Raisins

Heat the oven.
Brush the baking mold with margarine & little flour
Sift flour,baking powder & baking soda
ADd vanilla essence, sugar, raisins & powder milk.
Add the condensed milk,mix it well.
Then add the melted butter&margarine,and orange juice.
MIx it till truly blended.

Put in the baking mold, I used 24x6,5cm(in original recipe 18x18cm) as it the only round baking mold I have hehe..

Bake for bout 30-45 minutes or till the tooth pick comes out clean.

Original recipe doesnt use milk powder,raisins,and sugar,& 1 tsp baking soda.

Bread

Nih resep roti yang bikin remuk tangan.. kalau pake mixer pasti asik banget

Recipe from Dapur Bunda
Modified by me

500 gr bread flour
125 gr sugar
1/2 sdt salt
1 sdt bread improver
1 egg
125 ml milk
125 ml water
22 gr Instant yeast
80 gr salted butter

Filling: Chocolate & Grated Cheddar cheese
For top: egg yolk & honey

Method:

Mix flour,sugar,salt & bread improver. Mix well.
Add egg,milk, butter, water& instant yeast.
Make a dough, knead well.
Set aside for 30 minutes.
Take dough @30gr, fill with the filling and make a shape.
Brush on top of each bread dough with topping and baked it for 15 minutes, 180C.

(Kalo gue, karena engga punya gula biasa terpaksa pake gula bubuk and jadi 175 gr, kemarin juga krn bread flr hanya punya 457 gr, sisanya gue pake terigu serbaguna,dan air yg digunakan engga 125 ml..kyknya hanya 100 ml, untuk olesan hanya gunakan kuning telur krn engga ada stok madu dirumah)

Orange Chicken


I never eat this before.First i thought its only a name that "Fortune Cookie"machine created while we got the bonus from the game, until lst week my brother asked me whether I've try eat that or no.
Then I tried to find the recipe from internet. I found it and as usual modified it.
The result is good, taste a bit sweet but not so sweet, very easy&fast to cooked.

Recipe as follow:

Flour
Boneless chicken
2 Garlic minced
Little ginger minced
3 tbsp SOy sauce
2 tbsp Olive oil
4 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp butter
3 1/2 tsp hoisin sauce
1 cup orange juice, 1/3 cup to marinate , the rest for the sauce.
1 mandarin orange, peeled
1 chopped paprika
Onion
1 Red CHili chopped
1tbsp maizena
Water
Salt,&little sugar

Potong ayam bentuk kotak, trus direndam 2 jam dengan terigu, kecap manis,bawang putih&jahe, orange juice, garam dan sedikit lada hitam.

Panaskan minyak wijen& sedikit butter, masukan ayam, goreng aduk2 sampai matang, kemudian angkat.

Masukan olive oil,panaskan, masukan bawang bombay, paprika,cabe merah,aduk2.
Masukan hoisin sauce aduk rata trus masukan orange juice, aduk2 masukan garam, and masukan ayam. Aduk2 deh, trus gue masukin air secukupnya tunggu ampe mendidih gue masukin maizena biar nanti jd kentel gitu...trus terakhir pakein gula sedikitttt ajaaa trus baru deh gue masukin jeruk mandarinnya(biji and kulit dah gue buangg)

Jadi deh..enak ei.. warna warni kan jadinya,cuma sayang difoto engga keliatan warna warninya krn kelelep ayam..
