Another dining stuff

I love them because of the colours and the shape. I bought 4 small yellow bowls which cost only $0,59/each and the big one $0,79/each, I took 2 yellow and 1 green.
Ah yellow always become my favourite.



My Saturday with Lontong sayur

I remember when I was pregnant,I was craving to eat Lontong sayur. I browsed to internet to found the recipe and at the same day I straight bought all ingredients and cooked them.I cooked the Lodeh, The Semur(without beef) and also the Lontong( with plastics as in Panama they not selling the banana leaves).
Thank God everything came very nice. Me and baby in my womb enjoyed it so much.

Last week, I was craving again of Lontong Sayur so I made this for Saturday menu. I asked my maid to buy evertyhing I need and cooked it on Friday, except the Lontong which I prepared on Saturday

My helpful maid came and brought banana leaves from her house to make this lontong.




I used a threat to tighten the lontong instead of the toothpick as it very loose in the middle part. Well, I thank to my maid for the suggestion.


And my complete Lontong sayur was perfect.


Especially this time I put beef for the semur tahu, and I always mix the lodeh sayur with semur tahu in my lontong.

Mocca Cake

Again its a mocca cake.

Actually I was thinking to cover the cake with chocholate glaze. But unfortunatelly,as I used only 1 bar of Hersey special dark, it cant cover all. What to do as chocolate already melted, then I decided to just splash them to my cake. Quite messy to see, I guess.



Well, u never know if never tried. This is my very 1st time melted the chocolate, so I didnt know that 1 bar wont enough for glazing.

ANYWAY,I used the same recipe for the cake.

Speedy Shrimp Curry

This morning woke up with a plan Im gonna cooked shrimp with oyster sauce for my hubby´s lunch.Out of the blue,its become a curry.Its very quick to cook it and without curry ingredients as needed. I put only a pinch of turmeric powder for the sense of curry.


I prepared only

1/2libra of shrimps with tail
1cm of ginger,crushed
1 clove of garlic, chopped
1/4 onion, thinly slices
Small carrot,cut lengthside
1/2 green capsicum,
Chopped cilantro leaves
1 tsp of corn flour
2 cups of water (its depends how much water u want)
Pinch of turmeric powder
Lime juice
Salt & Pepper
4 tbsp oil to fry

Put oil,saute ginger and garlic. Add shrimps,fry it till medium cooked then put onion. MIx it till onion soft,and add carrot, salt, pepper and turmeric powder.
Put cover on the pan and low flame. Let it stand for about 3 minutes.
Put water,cover it again. The last, put capsicum but cooked not too long. And stir the corn flour. Add cilantro leaves. Off the flame, and after 2 minutes put lime juice.

Egg Tart

Gampang banget buatnya dan enak. Thanks to mama stella untuk resepnya.



Resepnya:

Untuk kulit:


150 gr terigu

2 sdm maizena

1 1/2 sdm gula halus

1/4 sdt garam

1 kuning telur

100 gr mentega

Custard:
2 butir telur

1 sdm susu kental manis ( gue tambahin jadi 2 sdm)

sedikit garam

100 ml susu evaporated

200 ml air

2 sdm gula

1/2 sdt vanila essence

Caranya:

Campur semua bahan kulit jadi adonan.

Bentuk kulit ke cetakan pie dengan cara ditekan2 disesuaikan dengan bentuk cetakan

Aduk telur, susu kental manis dan gula sampai rata

Panaskan susu evaporasi dan air , dinginkan

Tuang campuran telur ke dalam susu

Masukan vanila essence

Masukan campuran susu semua tadi kedalam cetakan yang sudah berkulit.

Panggang 25 menit, suhu 180C
